Davis Creek Farm

Davis Creek Farm is a small family farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains between Charlottesville and Lynchburg. Since 2001, we have raised heritage breed Red Poll beef cattle, older breeds of laying hens (eggs), as well as pasture-raised broiler chickens. (As of 2014, we no longer produce broiler chickens.) We not only provide a physical alternative to factory farming by raising animals solely on pasture, but more importantly, we seek to honor the life that feeds us and our community. We recognize that our animals and plants teach and sustain us, and we are humbly grateful to them. All plants and animals are loved and thanked throughout their lives for their sacred contribution to the whole
