Red Fox Farm Brentwood NY LLC

In 1896 the Sisters of St. Joseph's purchased two hundred and twelve acres of land on which to build their convent. Until the late 60's this land served as a dairy farm providing produce and dairy to the sisters and other in the community. Two years ago the sisters, through Peconic Land Trust, designated 30 acres of that land to local farmers. On January 1, 2018 the Sisters of St. Joseph's leased 1.2 acres of land to Red Fox Farms. Red Fox is named after the sly red foxes who can some times be seen roaming the grounds. Like the sisters we believe we are stewards of our land. We have a passion for ethical, sustainable and responsible farming. From bees to beats, everything we grow is follows natural principles and follows the CSJ Land Ethics Statement. Recently, Red Fox has begun the practice of biodynamic farming, furthering our mission to care for and foster the growth of our land.
