Sunny Acres Farm

Multi-generational family farm trying to to use regenerative practices to be sustainable. We have been using management intensive grazing practices for many years. All of our animals are pastured and any grain fed is locally sourced non-GMO certified. We use minimum tillage and have moved as much of our planting to no-till as is practical and possible. We use organic amendments to enhance the fertility of the soil and are working to increase organic matter content of our soils using our grazing practices as well as using cover crops to keep soil protected at all times. We have also begun planting native trees (pawpaw) to provide a source of fruit not available locally.
