Vrooman Family Farm

We are a small family-owned farm that tries to emphasize quality and integrity, and we believe a big component of that is raising each particular animal in their natural environment. In their natural environment, herbivores (i.e., cows) belong on grass. Chickens, along with other bird species, tend to follow herbivores in a natural pattern where they eat the bugs and insects, which are attracted to manure laid down by the herbivore. Wild pigs tend to roam in brush/woodland environments in order forage on the undergrowth. On our farm, we try to mimic these patterns found in the natural world and believe our customers can see the difference in the quality of the meat. In addition to foraging, we supply our pigs and chickens with non-GMO grain to supplement their diet. We always invite our customers to come out and visit our farm so they can see the difference for themselves
